Handcrafted in fine silver (.999), this is a one-of-a kind natural dioptase crystal cluster ring! This crystal is left in its natural form with no color treatments. For added durability, this specimen is stabilized with a thin resin backing.

* The vivid emerald-green color comes from copper, but unlike emerald, dioptase is quite fragile (hardness around 5 on the Mohs scale with perfect cleavage)
* Most fine dioptase is rare to find in jewelry as it ends up in mineral collections rather because collectors value intact crystal specimens.
*This specific specimen is from Namibia’s Kaokoveld Plateau, a region known among mineral collectors for its rare copper mineral deposits
